Have you ever considered a glass countertop for your own home? Would you consider one?
I think as everyone probably knows at this point I LOVE glass!!! See here and here and here, I can go on but you get the picture I am sure.
These are absolutely stunning glass countertop applications and I just had to share...
What a breathtaking approach for any kitchen, bathroom or any other bar area in your house.
Thinkglass sells them in 1.5", 2" or 3" now that is a chunk of glass isn't it? Also, if you are interested check out Ultraglas as well.
Glass is strong and durable. The textured finishes hide dust, fingerprints and small scratches. It's super easy to clean. Glass is naturally heat resistant. It's non porous which makes it hygienic too.
Sooo what's not to like? These pieces make me want to touch, they look like huge chunks of ice don't they?
You have to admit these countertops are pretty darn sexy if nothing else right? ;)
I think this picture is my favorite...
So what do you think? Would you consider it? ;)

I've never seen this before - just beautiful! It would be too modern for my decor, but perfect in just the right kitchen.
I'd definitely consider it if I could afford it. That ice-like countertop is incredible.
I'm going to add this post to my favorites... I came up with a design with a glass desk top for a doctor's private office... I must show him these photos! And I was looking for resources... soooo glad I stopped by!
Merci!

Love love love! Thx for sharing!
These are stunning!! Think of all the possibilities and color combinations that glass would afford!! Love it!!
Coming by through SITS. I haven't seen this before either. LOVE the idea!
OOOHHH that last one!! I'm gonna look around now to see if you have some pics of your rock star dog! :)
Love 'em!! Yes, I would do a glass countertop. In fact, I recently helped a friend redo her bathroom, and I suggested she go with a glass vanity countertop. She decided to go with stainless steel in the end. Oh well, maybe next time!!

Those look beautiful. Almost like sculptures! So yeah, I would consider glass in my kitchen like that. We recently were looking at new countertops and in a place that specializes in recycled materials they had countertops made of concrete and glass that were amazing!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing my SITS day with me on Tuesday!!
