I have owned my own residential interior design firm now for almost 10 years, wow does time fly?
Once I am introduced to people and they find out I am an Interior Designer I am always getting asked "quick questions" for help with their own design dilemmas. Unfortunately, without me seeing their homes that almost impossible. But over the years I have perfected my Decorator On Demand concept.
This site is really for people who don't necessarily need a full interior designer, for a couple of reasons....
1) They don't need one, they get the idea of what they want to do and most likely a do-it-yourselfer in the first place, they just need some guidance and help on their "questions".
2) Money might play into hiring an interior designer. Being that I am one I think we are totally worth every penny for what we do, but I am keenly aware that not everyone can afford a local designer and that's okay, doesn't everyone deserve a designer?
3) Intimation also plays into it. I think because Interior Designers live in a cloak of such secrecy people are just plain afraid to hire one and not end up with a home they want that conveys them. Sometimes they just don't understand the process and some designers lets face facts are snooty/bitches, ha, yes I did just say that.
So back to why I started this branch of my brand....It's a way to address all my online clients design issues in a timely and no surprise fashion in the most cost effective and time management way.
